The summit is a free one-day (May 16 - 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) virtual annual event geared toward addressing environmental health topics relevant to the Mid-Atlantic Region. It features an opening plenary with state environmental state secretaries and concurrent sessions focused on various topics, including equity, environmental justice, sustainability, grant opportunities, and more.

This year’s event, themed “Empowering Communities for Environmental Equity,” is an opportunity for everyone across the Mid-Atlantic Region to gather and exchange ideas about equitable access to healthy and sustainable communities.

The event website has more information on the summit, including the agenda and the list of partners.

Registration is now open – there is no obligation to stay for the whole event, as any registered attendee can come and go as they like.
