Coastal Resilience Master Plan survey for local governments now available

Friday, December 8, 2023/Categories: News Board

The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation invites responses to their survey to provide feedback on the Coastal Resilience Master Plan. Staff responsible for flood mitigation and resilience from state government, planning district commissions, local governments, and tribal governments are encouraged to participate. The 19-question survey should take about fifteen to thirty minutes to complete.

Responses are due December 22, 2023.

Your response will help shape the final products developed for Phase II of the Coastal Resilience Master Plan, due to be completed in December 2024. Additional opportunities to provide feedback on the plan are planned for 2024. Government staff can sign up for DCR’s flood resilience practitioner contact list to receive email updates.
