Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay - Green Infrastructure Technical Assistance for Towns
Monday, August 3, 2026/Categories: News Board
What: No cost planning, design, and implementation support for green infrastructure practices to address stormwater runoff, reduce flooding and erosion, and improve public spaces.
How: Towns receive virtual and in-person consultations and will receive a customized Green Infrastructure Action Plan. This plan recommends green infrastructure practices and outlines costs, potential funding sources, permitting, and more to set the town up for implementation. Recommendations focus on town-owned, public properties.
Eligibility: Any municipality in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed is eligible, with priority is given to smaller, non-regulated communities. Interested towns can use this form to be considered.
