This workshop will focus on a project funded by NOAA through the Virginia Coastal Zone Management Program, where references to tidal datums, vertical datums, and their derived measurements were catalogued and assessed for potential impacts from pending updates.

The training will feature industry experts who will give emerging developers the tools, strategies and technical knowledge needed to deliver successful, sustainable affordable housing projects. 

Section 15.2-2209.3 of the Code of Virginia requires localities with populations greater than 3,500 to provide information on fees for processing, reviewing, and permitting of applications for residential land development and construction activities, including fees connected to individual residential developments for the 2025 calendar year (January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025).
