Westhaven Clinic Program Coordinator

Job Description:

Application Deadline: May 26, 2022 at 5pm EST.

This position in the Human Services Department serves as coordinator of the Westhaven Nursing Clinic which provides services to the residents of the Westhaven neighborhood and residents in public housing neighborhoods. The position works collaboratively with the clinic nurse to: coordinate services and service providers that work out of the clinic, co-facilitates programming, assess community needs and identify resources to meet them. Primarily and most frequently performs work independently with diverse functional areas, with a variety of internal and external partners, and ability to train others. Work requires independent judgment, especially as related to evaluation of the social determinants of health. Serves as a consultant to management on the effectiveness and/or productivity of program operations and administration. This position reports to the Director of Human Services.

Hiring salary will be between $47,191.51 to $59,300.80 annually. Starting offer is based on applicable education, experience, and internal equity. This is a full-time, exempt, position which provides excellent benefits including 13 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick leave, health insurance options with employer contribution, employer-paid life insurance, City’s retirement options, gym membership reimbursement, and continuing education/training opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:
– At least three years of experience in related field or occupation. (Experience may include paid, volunteer, and/or lived experience; and must be clearly documented in the education, work history, and additional information sections of the employment application).
– Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in business administration, public policy, social or human services, or other fields relevant to area in which assigned. (Minimally, possession of high school diploma or GED is required, and one and a half years of relevant work experience may be substituted for each year of the required higher education.)
