Water Plant Operator
Job Description:
The Town of Strasburg currently seeks a self-motivated individual with a Class 4 Waterworks license or higher and/or an individual that will accept the challenge of training to become an operator. This position requires a responsible, dedicated individual that has the ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily, displaying the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform all aspects of water treatment. Minimum requirements for a trainee: high school diploma/GED, ability to lift 50 lbs. and possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Advanced mathematical skills are essential.
Benefits include: VRS retirement, medical and life insurance, paid holidays, annual, and sick leave. Salary range, $18.23 – $32.03/hour, DOE/DOQ.
