WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR APPRENTICE
Job Description:
Loudoun Water, a public water and sewer utility, is seeking a Plant Operator Apprentice for our 24-hour Broad Run Water Reclamation Facility. The Broad Run WRF is an 11 MGD state-of-the-art facility utilizing biological nutrient removal, membrane filtration, carbon absorption, and ultra-violet disinfection treatment to protect drinking water sources.

Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the Plant Operator Apprentice will monitor plant performance, take samples of wastewater flow, operate pumps and other equipment, and maintain the building and grounds of the water reclamation facility.
Requirements: Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts on short notice. The work week is 37.5-hours. Must be willing to obtain a VA State Class IV Wastewater Treatment License within eighteen (18) months. Preferred applicant will possess a Class IV or Class III Wastewater License.
