TRAINING COORDINATOR- WATERWORKS

Do you enjoy training? Are you looking to take your career to the next level? This may be the perfect opportunity for you! As a Training Coordinator, you will work in our Waterworks Department.
This position is responsible for managing the Department’s training program to include facilitation, assessing needs, developing curriculum, and ensuring program compliance with mandatory standards.
You will develop, coordinate, and conduct training curriculum based on training needs to include regulatory, professional, leadership and skill development programs for departmental employees. This position is also responsible for conducting training assessments and surveys to measure training program effectiveness.
The Training Coordinator will also be responsible for researching state and federal laws and regulations for changes or updates to employer-mandated training requirements. This position ensures that state mandated training is scheduled and completed as required, disseminates training information, as needed and supports recruitment efforts for the department.
The Training Coordinator will assist with training with budget preparation and monitoring, purchasing and financial transactions, payroll, selection processes, career counseling, human resources responsibilities, prioritizing, assigning work and related activities. You will also maintain, collect and update various training materials including multi-media.
This position also maintains a training database to monitor, document training and attendance and produces statistical reports, as requested. You will also recommend improvements to training and tracking systems.
The salary range for this position is $41K-$71Kk. Salary ranges are competitive based on qualifications and experience. In addition to salary, the City offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet all of our employee’s needs!
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Adult Education or a related field with 3 – 5 years of experience working in a training and/or human resources environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
