Town Planner – Zoning Administrator
Duties include complex professional and administrative work in assisting the Town Manager in a variety of assignments relating to planning, enforcement of the zoning/subdivision ordinances, review of site/subdivision plans, review and issuance of zoning permits. Serves as staff to the Town’s Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and Historic Overlay District Review Board. Other duties include maintenance of the Town’s Geographic Information System.
Candidates must have excellent communication and organization skills, ability to read and interpret site plans, possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in planning, social sciences, public administration or a related field and at least two years of progressively responsible experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
