Technical Support Manager
Performs difficult technical and professional work involving the installation, maintenance, and utilization of City information systems and other related electronic operations; does related work as required. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the City Manager.
Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited community college with course work in information technology or related field and five years of experience in relational database management system, client server environment and client software solutions and some experience in migrating from centralized to client server systems and training classes with Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) as needed. A+ Certification and experience on multiple platforms.
Special Requirements: Approval by Virginia State Police to operate multiple VCIN and CJIS systems.
