Stormwater Compliance Specialist

The ideal candidate for this position will serve as the lead employee for advanced-level tasks associated with the stormwater management and environmental compliance programs.
– Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in environmental studies or science, urban planning, engineering, or closely related field.
– Valid driver’s license.
– Availability outside of standard 8:00am to 5:00pm time frames to attend occasional meetings.
– Requires possession of Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Stormwater Management Inspector and Stormwater Plan Reviewer certification within 18 months of hire or as class scheduling permits.
