Small Business Solution Manager

Job Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Town Manager, the Small Business Solutions Manager is primarily responsible for networking and assisting the Town of Christiansburg with small business efforts, encouraging business investments, and being a resource to small business owners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, or related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience
• Prior experience working with small businesses and government agencies
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented with strong project management and prioritization skills
Licenses and Certifications
• Valid Virginia driver’s license with the ability to meet/maintain Town insurability requirements
• Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) certification preferred but not required
