Sign Graphics Designer & Fabricator
Do you want a career that allows you to utilize your technical and creative skills and experience to design and manufacture a variety of signs for traffic control and City facilities? If so, the City of Harrisonburg Public Works Department’s Sign Graphics Designer & Fabricator role may be the right position for you!
As the Sign Graphics Designer & Fabricator, you’ll:
– Receive work orders and verbal requests to design, create, and fabricate a variety of signs, including but not limited to banner signs, directional signs, facility signs, street signs, and traffic signs, using specialized graphics software and computer-driven plotting equipment;
– Proof, trim, sort, assemble, and distribute printed signage by cutting, weeding, taping, and preparing a variety of substrates, such as corrugated plastic, foam board, PVC, aluminum, and acrylic;
– Apply vinyl graphics to a variety of substrates;
– Perform a variety of other duties as listed in the ad on the City’s website.
