What You’ll Be Doing
This position requires senior level professional engineering work within the Department of Plan Review with a primary function of examining and providing engineering review and design for private sector Land Development Applications as well as Town initiated Capital Project applications to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Town development ordinances. Work involves reviewing engineering and construction plans for compliance with codes, regulations and Town standards and coordination with consultants and developers regarding plan approval. This position also provides assistance to various Town departments, outside review agencies, architects, engineers, and the general public with code compliance pertaining to the development or subdivision of property.
Graduated from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related field; minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of experience in civil engineering work; possession of a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
