What You’ll Be Doing
The Safety Coordinator performs administrative, field and technical work in the development, analysis and administration of safety and risk management programs, including, but not limited to, safety management, OSHA compliance, worker’s compensation, and injury and liability management. Position involves planning, directing, and overseeing projects, activities and operations related to safety and risk management in collaboration with Town departments to enact and promote safety programs. The Safety Coordinator will work closely with the Human Resources Department to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, identify and mitigate risks, and promote a

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in safety science, safety management, industrial hygiene, or related field; or equivalent combination of accepted education, training and experience. Extensive and progressively responsible experience in safety management. CPR/AED and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment. Possession of a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
