Real Estate Data Analyst
The purpose of this job within the organization is to support the appraisal team, Real Estate Assessments Clerk and the City Assessor by providing reports and maps, and serving as the Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) database administrator. Analyzes market trends and participates in the annual compilation of pricing schedules for use in estimating real property values by collecting current cost/sales information from contractors, manuals, realtors, etc., and then computing estimations. Serves as a resource to other departments to answer questions regarding use/manipulation of real estate data. Maintains and updates CAMA reports using Crystal Reports, SQL Query Analyzer, Microsoft Access, ArcView, Excel or other software. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in information systems or computer science, real estate, business administration or closely related field. Requires a working knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or other industry standard Database Management Systems (DBMS). Experience administering a computer based CAMA system, experience with ArcView Geographic Information System (GIS) Systems, and reporting software such as Crystal Reports.
