The Columbia (Maryland) Association (CA) is seeking a visionary, collaborative, and transparent leader to be its next President/CEO. CA is a 501(c)4 nonprofit community services organization that manages Columbia, Maryland. The CA organization has a staff of approximately 200 full-time and over 1,000 part-time and seasonal team members and a 2020-21 annual operating budget of nearly $56 million and a capital budget of $8 million.
The President/CEO oversees, directs, and manages the CA organization, supervising and working through an 11-member senior leadership team. Major responsibilities of the President/CEO fall into three broad priorities: strategic, visionary leadership, being the “face” of CA, and managing the CA organization.
The President/CEO position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field and extensive responsible executive experience in managing a community services corporation or non-profit organization of comparable size and complexity.
