Job Description:
WEST POINT POLICE DEPARTMENT, located within the Town of West Point, Virginia, is seeking applicants for the position of Police Officer I.
Applicants must be 21years of age; Virginia DCJS certification required; criminal background and DMV history required. Physical examination to include a drug screen and polygraph examination and a psychological evaluation will also be required.
Position is permanent and full-time while working during a probationary period. Position may be a night shift position.
Full benefits package to also include the VRS/LEO enhanced benefit.
The typical annual starting salary range for the position is:
$37336.93 to $40000.00, depending on experience.
