The Front Royal Police Department wants to add dedicated and committed Virginia DCJS certified officers to our roster. We are offering a generous incentive to officers who are current Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) certified and have two or more years of experience as a full-time police officer with a Virginia law enforcement agency.
A certified officer will receive a cash bonus of $5,000. NOTE: This bonus is rewarded upon successful completion of the Field Training Officer (FTO) Program and signing a 2-year employment commitment with the Front Royal Police Department.
The department has 12-hour permanent shifts resulting in working an average of 13 days per month. We offer very competitive wages based upon experience, qualifications and certifications. The department is a full-service department. Benefits include Virginia State Retirement with the Hazardous Duty (LEOS) supplement.
