The City of Waynesboro Finance Team is looking for an energetic, detail oriented, customer focused payroll specialist to join our team and help us process and produce the City’s payroll along with other financial related activities.
The ideal candidate for the Payroll Specialist should be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and other financial management procedures. An ideal candidate should have sound judgment and decision-making skills. Prior experience with Munis software or other computerized accounting systems, Microsoft Office applications, and proficiency in spreadsheets is preferred.
Position Requirements: High School Diploma required and three years of related experience required.
Compensation and Benefits: Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.
