This position is responsible for independently performing a variety of technical and advanced accounting and clerical duties involved with administering and reconciling the Town’s payroll for all employees and elected/appointed officials. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Accounting Manager within the Department of Finance and Administrative Services.
Associates Degree or equivalent certification in business management or accounting or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with automated payroll systems.
BA/BS degree in accounting or a related field.
Certified Payroll Professional or Fundamental Payroll Certification.
Municipal government experience.
