Are you looking for a seasonal job that allows you to work primarily outdoors and utilize your maintenance skills to upkeep various park grounds? If so, apply to the City of Harrisonburg’s seasonal Park Grounds Maintenance position!
The Park Grounds Maintenance position is a seasonal position (no benefits) with a preferred hiring rate of $11.63 per hour. The ideal candidate for this position will perform a variety of manual labor work in the care and maintenance of park grounds.
The Park Grounds Maintenance is responsible for:
– Mowing/edging of parks or other grounds;
– Weedeating;
– General landscape installation and maintenance;
– Collecting trash;
– Using a variety of equipment and power tools, including but not limited to lawn mowers, blowers, trimmers, edgers, and power-washers.
