Job Description:
Are you looking for a seasonal job that allows you to work primarily outdoors and utilize your maintenance skills? If so, apply to the City of Harrisonburg’s seasonal Park Facilities Maintenance Laborer position!
The ideal candidate for this position will perform a variety of manual labor work in the care and maintenance of public parks and facilities. As the Park Maintenance Laborer, you’ll be responsible for:
– Painting;
– Pressure washing;
– Performing light construction;
– Cleaning of restrooms;
– Collecting trash;
– Using a variety of equipment and power tools, including but not limited to blowers and power-washers;
– Assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair projects, as needed.
