Job Description:
The City of Bristol, Virginia is accepting applications for the position of Office Administrator- Fire Department. Reports to the Fire Chief. Performs advanced clerical tasks including budget development and management, maintaining financial accounts and records. Assists with grant writing and grants management. Compiles data for various monthly reports. Performs advanced levels of technical work; deals with the public on a regular basis in person and on the phone. Coordinates and schedules public fire safety education activities.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree preferred. Knowledge of fire and EMS preferred. Three to five years’ experience in similar type of work required.
