MAINTENANCE PLANNER/SCHEDULER
Job Description:
Loudoun Water has immediate opening for Maintenance Planner/Scheduler. Located in Ashburn, VA Loudoun Water is a public utility providing water and wastewater services to the unincorporated areas of Loudoun County, VA. Through the utilization of SAP, the planner/schedulers’ role is to improve work force efficiency by eliminating potential delays and obstacles through proper planning of work tasks and weekly scheduling.
The planner/scheduler is responsible for coordinating the flow of work and materials within and between departments for both preventive and corrective maintenance. This includes identifying and verifying the availability of materials and tools, purchasing materials, identifying tasks involved and the qualified personnel required. The planner/scheduler also builds a weekly schedule of work orders, reviews the results of completed work in SAP, and analyzes data to determine where improvements can be made.
Requirements: Minimum of five years direct experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and/or water and sewer utility. Experience with SAP or in the field of water and wastewater is preferred.
