What You’ll Be Doing
This is skilled lead supervisory work which involves maintaining the aesthetic appearance of all parks, playability of athletic fields and open spaces throughout the town. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks in the maintenance and care of parks, athletic fields, trails, landscape beds, playgrounds, and public lands. Work includes the providing of daily reports to a supervisor and the operation of power and automotive equipment in the performance of required work tasks.
HS diploma/GED, minimum 18 years old; five (5) years of experience in landscape work or parks maintenance/construction; ability to operate mechanized maintenance equipment and vehicles; possession of valid driver’s license; pesticide applicators certification, or obtained within eighteen (18) months of hire; CPR and First Aid Certifications, or obtained within 90 days of hire.
