IT Vendor Relations and Performance Coordinator 35570
The IT Vendor Relations and Performance Coordinator will be responsible for managing vendor, contract, and/or grant life cycles to include solicitation/application development, contract and grant management (terms and conditions), changes and modifications, the monitoring and enforcement of performance clauses and service level agreements, renewals, negotiations and reporting requirements. The coordinator will build, maintain, and enhance solid relationships with IT vendors and internal and external stakeholders; be responsible for multiple vendor relationships and for ensuring IT and business requirements specifications, prioritization of and arbitration with IT vendors and serving as a liaison to the business.
Overall, the IT Vendor Relations and Performance Coordinator must ensure that the organization achieves its objectives and assists the IT vendor(s) with the achievement of their business objectives.
The IT Vendor Relations and Performance Coordinator duties will also include the following:
Validate and define requirements with IT Service Delivery and Business Owners applicable to new third party product requests.
Researche the relevant marketplace to identify viable solutions and determine optimal sourcing strategies to select and contract required new products.
Work closely with the Procurement department to execute defined sourcing strategy, negotiate, and execute a new supplier contracts and related purchases.
Represent IT during the sourcing and negotiations process and serve as point of escalation.
Review all IT Hardware, Software and Telecom purchase and renewal requests, confirm budgets and engage Procurement to obtain and negotiate quote and execute requested purchases. Take an active role in the key/strategic sourcing and negotiation processes.
Identify the need for RFPs, evaluation, and contract development processes.
