The Hampton Roads Planning District Commission (HRPDC) is seeking a candidate for the position of Information Technology (IT) Manager to coordinate, plan, organize and implement all IT-related activities of a regional planning office in coordination with a managed IT services provider. This position is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s technology needs including servers, workstations, portable laptops, network, internet, phone system, video conferencing equipment, audio recording of meetings and the IT budget. The IT Manager works closely with the organization’s managed IT services provider in maintaining the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting daily IT and audio-visual (AV) needs. The successful candidate will have Bachelor’s degree with considerable professional experience (6-8 years) in the IT field with similar knowledge, skills and abilities.
