Job Description:
Job Summary
Work is performed under the direction of the Lifeguard Supervisor. Duties include ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies and assisting with aquatic programs and pool operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in lifeguarding
Licenses and Certifications
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED and First Aid
• Valid, Virginia driver’s license with the ability to meet/maintain Town insurability requirements and a minimum of two (2) years driving experience
• May be required to obtain/maintain other certifications as deemed necessary
