GOLF COURSE TECHNICIAN (PART-TIME)
Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES- Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of activities associated with the care, maintenance and beautification of the Deer Run Golf Course. Reports to a Crew Supervisor B.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Performs a variety of grounds maintenance activities such as mowing, weeding, edging, raking, watering, and mulching on the Deer Run Golf Course; rakes sand traps, patches holes, cleans grounds to include removing trash and debris; clears wooded areas, trails and ditches. Operates equipment to include green, fairway, tee, and rough mowers as well as aerators. Ensures the safety of City equipment, private property, and individuals by following proper safety procedures; performs routine checks and preventive maintenance on equipment; identifies and reports equipment malfunctions; cleans equipment as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
