Finance Director, Town of Crewe, VA
The Town of Crewe, Virginia (population 2,326) is seeking a full-time Finance Director who will also function as the Town Treasurer. This key leadership position performs difficult professional work directing the financial operations of the Town, including, but not limited to, accounting functions, procurement, accounts payable/receivable, cash/debt management, budgeting, investments, grants administration, revenue billing and collection, payroll, and benefits administration. This position oversees the Revenue Collections Clerk and reports directly to the Town Manager.
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field. Prior experience in local government finance and budgeting preferred.
The Town currently pays 100% of medical insurance premiums for its employees and immediate family members.
