Facility Maintenance Technician III
Job Description:
Maintain and repair various building mechanical systems (the position may specialize in one or more trades such as HVAC, plumbing, digital controls, security systems, etc.). Supervise junior technicians and contractors conducting maintenance and repair of such systems.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Perform troubleshooting/maintenance/repair in trade specialty – for instance, HVAC,
plumbing, digital controls, security systems, etc., or some combination of these trades.
Perform troubleshooting/maintenance/repair on building systems other than trade specialty (i.e. if specialty is HVAC, then mechanical systems other than HVAC).
Assist in the budget preparation process, write work orders, locate and order parts,
and maintain maintenance files/records.
Participate in process improvement activities and workgroups.
