Entry Level Civil Engineer
Job Description:
The City of Bristol, Virginia has an immediate opening for the position of Entry Level Civil Engineer. This position reports to the City Engineer and performs complex professional work including, but not limited to, preparing a variety of technical reports and making recommendations to the City Engineer on Public Works projects.
Other duties include developing cost estimates and schedules for capital improvement projects. Assists the City Engineer with overseeing the planning, design, and inspection of engineering and construction projects in the City, with an emphasis on transportation and infrastructure.
Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or relevant field required. Must have valid driver’s license. Must have possession of an Engineer Intern Certificate or have the ability to obtain one within one year of start date.
