Custodian Senior

Job Description:

Do you want a job with the City that helps project a friendly image to our citizens, employees, and others? If so, the Custodian Senior position in the City’s Public Works Department may be the right opportunity for you!

The Custodian Senior is a part-time position (no benefits) and a preferred hiring range of $12.03 – $13.83 per hour. The ideal candidate for this position will have general knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, equipment and the ability to use them economically and efficiently. Applicants who do not meet the qualifications for the Custodian Senior level may be considered for another level within the department at an hourly rate commensurate with applicant qualifications.

Minimum Requirements:
– Completion of the tenth grade and minimal experience in the care and cleaning of buildings and grounds, or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED, preferred.
– Valid driver’s license required.
– Anticipated work hours are Mondays through Fridays from 8:00am – 12:00noon; however, the exact schedule will be dependent upon a variety of factors including the selected candidate and business needs.
