The Communications Officer is an essential part of the Front Royal Police Department in ensuring emergency and non-emergency calls for service are dispatched quickly and efficiently. A Communications Officer performs technical work dispatching law enforcement and other equipment and personnel, usually in response to emergency situations.
To attract experienced dispatchers, the Front Royal Police Department is offering a generous incentive to qualified Communications Officers who have successfully completed the DCJS Basic Communications School and have current VCIN/NCIC Level A Certification.
An experienced Communications Officer meeting these requirements will receive a cash bonus of $2500. NOTE: This bonus is rewarded upon successful completion of the Field Training Communications Officer (FTO) Program and signing a 2-year employment commitment with the Front Royal Police Department.
The hiring range for this position is $31,200 – $37,440 annually dependent upon applicable qualifications and experience. The Town of Front Front Royal is an equal opportunity employer.
