Seeking an experienced professional to serve as Clerk of Council. Looking for a forward-thinker who is engaged and familiar with best practices within the Municipal Clerk profession in Virginia. In addition, City Council expects the successful candidate to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Must be an excellent business-writer and superb listener. Performs complex professional and administrative work in directing and coordinating the activities of the City Clerk’s Office, performing Essential Duties and Responsibilities stated below.
