This position may be filled as a Building Trades II or as a Building Trades III depending on qualifications.
The preferred hiring range for a Building Trades II or III is between $16.20 – $21.25 Hourly ($33,696.00 – $44,200.00).Starting offer is based on applicable education, experience, and internal equity. Building Trades II Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma/GED. (If no diploma or GED, minimally must be literate and have completed education through the fifth grade with seven years of work experience.)
At least one year of experience in two of the three major trades (carpentry, plumbing, and painting/general maintenance) with demonstrated ability to perform general building maintenance.

Building Trades III Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma.
At least three to five years of experience in two of the four major trades (carpentry, plumbing, painting/general maintenance, and commercial door hardware/access control) with demonstrated ability to perform general building maintenance.

Satisfactory health condition in order to meet the physical requirements of the job.
