The Athletic Fields Grounds Crew Worker position is a seasonal position (no benefits) with a preferred hiring rate of $12.58 per hour. The ideal candidates for this position will perform a variety of manual labor work in the care and maintenance of athletic facilities.
This position is budgeted for work hours through October 2023. All applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of availability to work through the end of October 2023.
As an Athletic Fields Grounds Crew Worker, you’ll be responsible for the following:
– Mowing/edging of athletic fields;
– Dragging and lining of athletic fields;
– Rebuilding of mounds and home plate areas with clay;
– Collecting trash;
– Watering of athletic fields;
– Using a variety of equipment and power tools, including but not limited to lawn mowers, blowers, trimmers, edgers, and power-washers.
