Assistant Town Manager
Job Description:
The Town of Strasburg is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Assistant Town Manager. This exempt, full time position will perform complex professional work planning, directing and supervising municipal operations of assigned departments, divisions and staff, assisting the Town Manager with budget preparations, policies, research efforts, special projects, other administrative activities, including occasional supervision of Departments and staff in the absence of the Town Manager, and related work as apparent or assigned. Skill/experiences areas include public works/utilities, community & economic development.
The Assistant Town Manager must have the following:
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business administration/public administration, or related field.
At least five years of experience in management and operations of local government, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The salary range for this position will begin at $76,500.00, the actual starting salary will depend on the experience and qualifications of the chosen applicant.
