Roanoke County is a progressive local government with 1000+ employees providing services to our citizens. We are accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Human Resources. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR generalist, with government experience, to assist in establishing strategic and operational direction to advance our human resources programs. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic leader who is passionate about their work, has a strong HR foundation with the interpersonal skills necessary to work with a wide variety of people, and the administrative skills necessary to develop, manage and communicate effectively. Experience in Civil Rights compliance a plus.
