What You’ll Be Doing
This position performs responsible secretarial and administrative work for the Department of Utilities Water and Wastewater Divisions. Work involves maintaining and updating various types of computerized files; typing and preparing operational reports; processing invoices and bills using Munis financial system, and mailing correspondence; answering and directing incoming calls; and processing of daily mail. An employee in this class provides expertise in specialty areas such as a central point of contact. The employee frequently works with considerable independence in preparing correspondence.
HS/GED; minimum of six (6) years of administrative support experience, experience in handling a wide array of financial, budgeting and procurement matters, and experience working with top management officials in an organization; proficiency in all MS Suite applications; excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Two (2) regular part-time positions are available. One (1) position will be located in the Water Pollution Control Division and one (1) position will be located in the Water Supply Division.
