VML/VML Insurance: Free workshops to provide help for resolving conflicts, engaging citizens
The first of two free workshops sponsored by VML and VML Insurance Programs dealing with resolving conflicts and engaging citizens will be held March 30 in Abingdon and March 31 in Vinton. Four additional free workshops will held around the state in April and May. Agenda & registraion (PDF).
Local officials brave elements
to lobby legislators at Capitol
About 350 local government officials managed to brave the aftermath of wicked winter weather and make their way to Richmond on Thursday for VML-VACo Legislative Day. Participants were briefed on the status of legislation of interest to local governments before making their way to Capitol Square to lobby their delegates and senators.
