Also will manage the Building Inspection Department, ensuring compliance with laws, ordinances and codes; oversees Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit activities, including ensuring permit compliance, and developing and administering policies, procedures and fee schedules; administers the Erosion and Sediment Control Ordinance, including supervision of erosion and sediment control inspection, plan approval, and enforcement; administers environmental compliance functions, including landfill post closure reporting and sampling requirements on county-owned landfills; work with citizens and businesses to foster voluntary compliance with regulatory programs; and investigate and resolve citizen complaints.
