SALARY: $86,153-$137,841 (+) benefits. (pop. 68,000) (660 sq. miles) The administration consists of the chief, assistant chief, two administrative specialists and a fire rescue support specialist who support emergency management, operations, prevention, the Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association and county government needs with a FY09 budget of $2.79 million. The Career Operations Division consists of four battalion captains, nine Technician I's, eight Technician II's and eight Master Technicians who operate out of five of the 11 volunteer fire and rescue stations. The Training Division consists of a deputy chief, a logistics officer, an EMT instructor and a revenue recovery coordinator. Eleven volunteer fire and rescue departments form the Fire and Rescue Association, which is managed by an association president. The association consisted of 652 volunteers in 2008.
